How to achieve seamless collaboration
We are experiencing a fundamental work-life shift. The way we work is developing and evolving constantly. Flexible and hybrid working patterns are also redefining where, when and how we do our jobs; whether it’s at the office, at home, on a train or in a coffee shop, we can now work anywhere, anytime. It’s also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to redefine work using a hybrid model. If we get it right, and design hybrid work arrangements with the employee experience at the center, it will make our working lives more purposeful, productive and enjoyable.
And while the technology that provides this flexibility has never been more powerful, building a truly collaborative working environment that allows everyone to participate equally with the same great meeting experience can be challenging. Offices are becoming hubs for collaboration and creativity, and technology needs to enable this. This is why HP developed—and uses—HP Managed Collaboration Services [1].
Leading the way in collaboration
The goal of HP is to lead the way in the future of work—to deliver ideal work experiences that allow people to thrive in their work and lives. It’s all part of the HP on HP Program, in which HP uses its own innovations and helps drive improvements into the products and solutions before releasing them to customers. And with the addition of Poly products to the portfolio, HP is turning its vision for HP Managed Collaboration Services into reality.
“We knew there was a better way to collaborate,” explains Tadd Koziel, Vice President HP on HP Program. “Poly gave us a better way to enable that within our conference rooms.”
Empowering world-class hybrid collaboration
Whether it’s Poly headsets, video bars, speakerphones or IP desk phones, there’s a range of collaboration devices for every environment. Using its trusted define-design-deploy methodology, the HP Professional Services team assessed the key requirements at HP and identified the ideal solution. HP IT was then able to assess the workplace and optimize the meeting space’s design, maximizing real estate usage. From a workstyle assessment, the space was equipped with optimal standard collaboration environments as well as a tailored collaboration solution deploying an optimal room solution. IT teams then took responsibility for room management and 24/7 [2] proactive service monitoring and support.
Delivering exceptional meeting experiences
“One of the great things we designed into HP Managed Collaboration Services is real-time support, working with the HP Workforce Experience Platform [3]” adds Koziel. “We have AI-generated alerts that go directly to our support center. If they hear or see something wrong during the meeting, they can remediate it instantly. And on the rare occasions where we do have a problem, the support is right there to keep the meeting going. “Across the board, AI is working underneath almost everything we do. It’s a very modern architecture,” Koziel explains. “For example, support agents are now being prompted by AI, so when an issue comes in, we’re able to assist with visible incidents and potential fixes.”
