Panelists to share how geopolitical conflicts manifest security issues
The “Thinking Globally, Securing Locally: When World Events Show Up at Your Front Door” panel at 2024 SECURITY 500 Conference will feature security leaders discussing broad geopolitical issues. These issues will include Russian disinformation, Chinese influence operations, the conflict between Israel and Gaza, and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The panel will further discuss how these geopolitical issues manifest security concerns at workplaces, schools and other organizations via protests, violence, boycott, and more.
The panel discussion will take place in Washington, D.C. on November 18, 2023 as part of the SECURITY 500 Conference, a one-day security executive event hosted by Security magazine. The panel will feature Michael Gips, Principle at Global Insights in Professional Security (GIPS), as the moderator as well as other industry experts including:
