It may not be Black Friday, but Presidents’ Day has its fair share of great tech deals — and OnePlus is joining the festivities. Right now, if you buy the OnePlus Open from the company’s online store, you’ll receive two gifts: a OnePlus Nord N30 smartphone and a pair of OnePlus Buds Pro 3 in either Midnight Opus (black), Lunar Radiance (white), or Sapphire (blue). That’s a $480 value that you’ll be grabbing for free of OnePlus tech with this purchase. But don’t wait long, this offer is set to end today, Feb. 17.

Getting a smartphone and a pair of high-end earbuds for free may sound too good to be true. However, once you look at the OnePlus Open, it’ll make sense. The mobile device normally retails for $1,700 and stands as one of the best foldable phones out there.

Plus, OnePlus confirmed this month that it won’t be releasing a OnePlus Open 2 model in 2025, so snagging the original Open will be your best option this year if you’re looking for the best OnePlus foldable experience. The brand will launch other new products this year, like the OnePlus Watch 3, and made it clear that it is not departing from the foldable phone market.

For now, this is a great freebie offer to take advantage of, and ZDNET experts remain impressed with the OnePlus Open. In his review, ZDNET contributing writer Matthew Miller highlights the key features that make the mobile device so good. The OnePlus Open boasts a vibrant, 2K main display that, when unfolded, measures 7.82 inches diagonally. He points out that the crease on this screen “is nearly non-existent… and the anti-reflective layer makes the big display a complete joy to use daily while commuting on the train.”

Another prominent feature is Open Canvas, which lets you open up to three apps simultaneously. Tapping one of those enlarges it while tucking the others away. In his review, ZDNET senior review editor Kerry Wan says that this tool “puts OnePlus ahead of Samsung and Google software.”

This free phone deal has one caveat: It is only available when purchasing the OnePlus Open in Voyager Black; it does not extend to the Emerald Dusk or Crimson Shadow variants.

Additionally, you could potentially save even more money by joining OnePlus’ trade-in program. For example, trading in an iPhone 14 Pro on AT&T’s network can net you up to $281 in savings. And there are add-ons available too. Bundling a OnePlus Watch 2R applies a 21% discount to the wearable, so there’s plenty of ways to save even more right now.

Per OnePlus, this offer will end on Feb. 17, 2025.
