Amazon extends July Prime Day to four day event, confirms 2025 dates

It’s time to start adding to your cart.
On Monday, Amazon announced the dates for its popular annual summer sale, Prime Day. Prime Day will return from Tuesday, July 8, through Friday, July 11, 2025, having been extended from the traditional two-day sale to a longer four-day event offering Prime members exclusive savings across the site.

The event will officially kick off on July 8 at 12:01 a.m. PDT and offer 96 continuous hours of savings.
July Prime Day is the biggest sale in the retail giant’s portfolio, followed by Prime Big Deal Days in October and the Big Spring Sale in March, and Amazon said shoppers will see tons of chances to save.

In a release, Amazon said that Prime shoppers can expect “double the time to shop millions of deals with savings on pantry staples and snacks for summer gatherings to home-improvement must-haves, back-to-school supplies, health and personal care finds, family-favorite toys, best-selling books, pet essentials, and even premium and luxury splurges.”
Amazon also unveiled a new feature called “Today’s Big Deals” — themed daily deal drops on top brands, featuring what Amazon calls some of the most exciting deals of the event, exclusive to Prime members, of course.
“These special offers launch daily at midnight PDT and remain available for a limited time, while supplies last,” Amazon says in its release. “Members can also check back frequently to discover incredible savings with deals dropping as often as every five minutes during select periods throughout the event.”
The retailer also touted several early Prime Day offers, encouraging sign-ups for its Prime program and re-launching Prime for Young Adults, a discounted membership for those aged 18-24.
Prime members can swipe up early access on Amazon products, like saving up to 30% on Amazon brands, starting July 1. Members can also find the lowest prices on select Amazon devices, like on the Blink Mini 2 two-pack and Ring Battery Doorbell with Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus bundle, as well as save up to 50% on select devices, including eero 6+ mesh Wi-Fi system, Fire HD 8 Plus, Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series, Kindle Essentials bundle, and Ring Indoor Cam.
For the gamers with Prime Gaming, you can claim six bonus free games starting June 17 at 9 a.m. PT: Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, Saints Row 2, Saints Row IV Re-Elected, Star Wars: Rebellion, TOEM, and Dungeon of the ENDLESS: Definitive Edition. Plus, save on select Fire TVs and Luna controller bundles now through July 8.
Amazon Prime Day will take place in more than 20 countries, including Ireland for the first time. Prime Day 2025 will return to the following countries this year: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the US, and the UK.
