ALL IN with Partners at Cisco Live

Hard to believe it’s already been a month since Cisco Live!!! If you’re like me, you were thrilled to have a chance to see partners, customers, and colleagues again.  This was my first business trip since the pandemic, so I was completely overwhelmed on Sunday when I arrived in Las Vegas – but by Monday morning I was back in the swing of Partner Executive meetings, booth duty, and even engaging with Cisco customers in the Mandalay Bay workout room and elevators.

As Global Director, Transformation Amplification, for Cisco’s Global Partner Sales Organization, you can imagine that my favorite part of Cisco Live was all about talking to partners – even more exciting when we’re discussing new ways to improve their business and profitability.  Watch this Cisco Live video to hear from Cisco partners, including AWS, Cohesity, Kyndryl, Hitachi, Schneider Electric, Veeam, and Wipro as they share their thoughts on the importance of partnering with Cisco, as well as their thoughts on hybrid cloud and XaaS.

New Ways to Enhance your Cisco Partnership

Jeff Gatz of Kyndryl had one of my favorite quotes in the video: “Cisco is the connector of our ecosystem. It helps us bring better solutions and solve bigger problems for our customers.”  Our booth at Cisco Live offered the opportunity to discuss new ways of doing this. However,  if you missed visiting our booth, or were attending Cisco Live Digital – learn more about PXP Digital Co-Sell here – as Multi-Partner Co-Selling is a BIG deal and essential to delivering customer outcomes and experiences. We’ve also recently launched Cisco Partner Journeys— a digital guide through resources, tools, and processes to help build differentiated practices, and enhance your profitability. It is available now!

Partners like Cohesity and Veeam shared their appreciation of our Transformation Champions initiative, which allows them to recognize the Cisco sellers who go above and beyond.  Francesca Harbert, Cisco Global Alliance Lead from Cohesity, said “Great partnerships are built on trust and personal relationships amongst the joint teams.  That is why I nominate.”  You, too, can nominate a Cisco colleague who has helped to create a great partnership.

Another popular topic was Cisco’s Portfolio Explorer, an interactive tool that builds the bridge between our customers’ business challenges and the Cisco solutions and partner offers that can help solve them. With an industry-first lens, a multi-domain architecture, demo videos, partner integration, financing resources, and more, we help our customers explore the use cases that can help them achieve their missions and business outcomes.

In addition to these topics, we also had other partner teams highlighting the latest opportunities around CX, BOSS (Business Outcomes Sales Success), and Managed Services.  Jeff Marusak, Cisco Director, Business Development, said “The Partner Managed and as-a-service sales team is focused on helping partners determine what platform to build managed services with, accelerate their GTM, and enable our sales teams to sell these partner managed solutions.”

Still Time to Catch up on Cisco Live Content

There were a lot of great announcements at Cisco Live. Cisco Partners can access this info via the Cisco Partner Launch Experience.   In addition to announcements, Cisco Live features the OnDemand Session Library giving us the opportunity to view the keynotes from Chuck Robbins, Todd Nightingale, and other Cisco Execs (see KEYGEN-1001 and KEYGEN-1002) and many other engaging sessions.

Hope to see some of our amazing Cisco Partners at Cisco’s Global Sales Meeting next month and even more of you at our Partner Summit in November.

Until then, enjoy viewing the sessions you might have missed, don’t forget to check out the links above, and DO remember to nominate your Transformation Champions.
