Cisco Partner Journeys for Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partners
As a partner-led company, many of the Cisco go-to-market motions flow through our valued partners as we work together to help our mutual customers achieve and exceed their desired outcomes and experience objectives. To this end, Cisco has introduced Partner Journeys, an innovative digital experience designed to streamline and accelerate our partners’ engagement with Cisco. Partner Journeys is singularly focused on helping our partners become even more successful in going to market with Cisco.
Today, there are five partner journeys designed to help partners in areas such as co-selling with the Cisco ecosystem, building solutions that incorporate Cisco technologies, engaging with the Meraki ecosystem, and marketing with Cisco Market Velocity. There is also a journey designed specifically for our MSP partners.
Each journey includes:
- A variety of tools, programs, and content resources designed to guide our partners through practice development
- Building solutions and programs that leverage the broad Cisco product portfolio
Each unique journey leads a partner step-by-step through key activities such as on-boarding, technical enablement, training, solution development, go-to-market planning, marketing, and more. This blog describes and explains the journeys for our MSP partners.
Cisco Elevate Partner Journey
The Cisco Elevate partner journey is specifically designed to help our MSP partners find everything they need to win in the small and medium-sized business (SMB) segment.
Dedicated to MSPs around the world, Cisco Elevate creates an inclusive community ecosystem in which everyone from executives to technologists can immerse themselves to learn and share insights around technology trends, thought leadership, conferences, networking, in-depth product trainings, best practices, and community events. We all know that relationships and loyalty matter–especially to our partners–and we all know the value MSPs provide to the Cisco community.
At present, the Cisco Elevate partner journey includes seven modules:
1. Cisco Provider Elevate Journey Overview provides an overview of this partner journey.
2. Cisco Provider Elevate discusses the partnering opportunity–especially with SMBs–and provides information about the Cisco partner journey program.
3. Cisco Black Belt Academy – Partner Managed Services shares a wealth of knowledge for partners such as:
– Market drivers–Cisco offers that partners can include in their portfolios
– Programs and resources available to accelerate partner time to market and sales
4. Meraki 101 presents the tools, resources, and training needed to help a partner differentiate itself as a Cisco Meraki Managed Service Provider.
5. Cisco Business 101 shares how the Cisco Small Business portfolio can get small MSPs out of the vendor management business and back to growing their practices.
6. Cisco Secure 101 guides MSP partners through the Cisco Security resources, tools, and programs that will help put the minds of their small business customers at ease.
7. Cisco Managed Service Provider Resources offers a consolidated list of MSP resources.
Marking it easier for our partners to succeed
In addition to providing pointers to a wealth of information, Cisco Partner Journeys includes a dashboard that makes it easier to track where you are in each of your journeys and to chart your progress. Personalization features are also included to create your own journey based on your specific roles and requirements. It’s also easy to apply content filters and search keywords to locate exactly what you need.
This is just the beginning. We will continue to evolve the Partner Journey feature set based on partner feedback. For example, we will soon be adding a recommendations engine based on more specific user roles to direct you to the journey or the content that you want more quickly.
