New for Cisco Partners: Webex Suite on AWS Marketplace
Co-authored by Lars Thorsen, Global Strategic Partner Sales Executive
As a partner, you always want to procure and deliver the best applications and services for your customers. And you know customers want to buy and consume those assets in new business models. Let’s say your customer is seeking Collaboration tools for their Hybrid Work initiative. Not just any Collaboration tools, but a suite of tools that you can easily purchase and manage for them, and which meets their need for flexibility and choice. Well, now there’s a solution for them and more opportunities for you.
Today we’re delighted to announce the launch of Webex Suite Named User (NU) on AWS Marketplace, expanding Cisco’s curated catalog of Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings available to partners. As Cisco continues to access additional routes to market for our products and services, public cloud marketplaces offer tremendous opportunities for our partners and customers.
Available through public* and private** listings (within select geographies), Webex Suite NU includes Calling, Messaging, Meetings, Whiteboarding, Webinars (up to 1000 participants), polling and Vidcast.
Expanding Choice for Partners
Cisco is leading with the channel on AWS Marketplace as a preferred route to market and our partners are accelerating with Cisco and AWS. More than 50 partners worldwide are enabled to sell Webex Suite NU on AWS Marketplace through the Consulting Partner Private Offers (CPPO) program today. These partners have the opportunity to help their AWS Enterprise Discount Program (EDP) customers “burn down” that committed spend by purchasing Cisco software such as Webex Suite, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes and other SaaS solutions. The partner value proposition is further expanded with the addition of value-added services ensuring customer success.
“It is critical for businesses of all sizes to optimize collaboration capabilities and use solutions that enhance the customer and employee experience,” said Chris Grusz, General Manager of Worldwide ISV Alliances and AWS Marketplace, AWS. “With Cisco Webex on AWS now available through AWS Marketplace, customers can confidently evolve hybrid work applications while taking advantage of the innovative hybrid cloud services that AWS provides.”
Cisco Webex is a SaaS solution which leverages AWS Platform Services, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud and Amazon Simple Storage Service. Cisco Webex is complementary to other AWS Services and Cisco Services that run on AWS. For example, Amazon Workspaces customers can run Cisco Webex from their cloud desktops. Customers may also want to add Cisco Meraki or other SDWAN services on AWS to optimize the Webex end user experience when working from branch locations. IT administrators may want to add Cisco AppDynamics which provides application performance monitoring, and Thousand Eyes, which provides multi-layered visibility from the application to the network, to augment the Webex solution.
In short, Cisco Webex Suite Named User on AWS Marketplace gives you multiple options for providing more services and gives customers ways to expand their Collaboration footprint while optimizing their AWS investments.
