Cisco Named a Leader in Collaboration Tools for Education


Cisco was recently named a leader in the first IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Collaboration Tools for Education. According to the IDC MarketScape report, “More than just a vendor serving the education market, Cisco has also been a significant provider of education for 25 years through Cisco Networking Academy. Its experience as an educator has helped inform Cisco’s product development and investment strategy as it builds education-specific capabilities.”

The report also noted, “During interviews for this study, several education customers rated Cisco “well-above expectations” or “best in class” for its security features.”

The IDC MarketScape notes, “Institutions should consider Cisco when they are looking for a vendor partner with deep industry expertise that offers a secure collaboration platform with a robust set of innovative features and capabilities.”
