You can get Sony's PlayStation VR2 gaming headset right now for $200 off

If you’ve been considering jumping into the world of VR gaming, but you’re scared by the eye-popping price of the Vision Pro and the still fairly expensive Meta Quest 3, there’s a deal going on right now you’ll want to pay attention to.

The PlayStation VR2, which made our list of the best VR headsets because of its ultra-smooth gameplay, is currently $200 off its normal $549.99 price at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. At $349.99, it’s at least $100 cheaper than any other major VR headset right now.

Technically, this is an impressive headset. Each OLED eye display provides a 2,000 x 2,040 resolution, 4K HDR, and a 120Hz refresh rate. You can also expect a 110-degree field of view. There’s almost no setup involved, and the headset has haptic feedback that lets you feel the gameplay.

Speaking of games, the PlayStation VR2 gives you access to a great library. Standouts include Horizon Call of the Mountain, Gran Turismo 7, No Man’s Sky, and The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners.

There is, however, a big caveat: you need a PS5 to play. If you’re purchasing the console new, you’ll end up paying more than double the price of this deal. If, however, you’re already a PS5 owner, and you’ve been on the fence, this is a great chance to diversify your gaming setup.
