Opera One browser comes to iPhone and it's packed with AI – try it today
Sick of Safari? The Opera One browser is now available for your iPhone.
Opera has been my default desktop and mobile web browser for a long time — for so many reasons. First and foremost, the UI is clean and unobtrusive. Opera’s mobile app offers features few other browsers can match, including one of the best built-in AI options you’ll ever experience. There are also sweet little touches such as the bottom search bar auto-hiding when scrolling, swipe-to-search gestures, standard navigation, and Fast Action Button-style navigation.

Opera’s Aria — the built-in AI feature — can help with web searches, text and image generation (via Google’s Imagen2 model), and even offers speech-to-text and text-to-speech.
Until now, Opera One with Aria integration was available only for the desktop and Android devices. Today, one year after Opera One debuted on the desktop, the browser becomes available for iOS and can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store.
Opera One offers a clean and intuitive browser experience with a streamlined design that fits perfectly with the iOS user interface. This release also includes a new Startpage Carousel that displays a dynamic newsfeed and live sports scores, so you can quickly swipe through the latest updates. You’ll also get custom wallpapers and themes with accent colors, a built-in ad blocker, a free VPN, and more.
After using Opera as my go-to desktop browser for years, I switched from Chrome to Opera on Android this past year. Beyond the extra privacy Opera offers (over Chrome), what drew me to Opera on Android is that the UI is one of the best for one-handed use. With the option of moving the search bar to the bottom of the page, I can easily use the browser with one hand, which — for me, at least — makes for more efficient browsing.
There’s also easy access to Reader Mode (which can be added to the address bar) to help get rid of distractions when trying to read content.
Also: I replaced Google Search with Opera’s Aria AI feature and I don’t miss the former one bit
For my purposes, Opera is — hands down — the best choice for ensuring the most efficient browsing experience. If that sounds worth trying out, head to the Apple App Store and install the browser on your iPhone today.
