Amazon is selling the Apple Watch Series 9 for $350 – act fast before this deal ends

Apple/ZDNET

Amazon is in the middle of its Big Spring Sale event, and right now, the platform is selling the Apple Watch Series 9 for a little over $350. This isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen, but it is a significant discount and one worth highlighting. Remember, Apple products don’t often see sales, and this rare offer may be fleeting since it’s only available on the 41mm model in Midnight Aluminum color.

It is worth mentioning that the Silver Aluminum watch is cheaper at $280; however only a few devices are available for purchase at the time of this writing.

The Apple Watch has become a cult favorite smartwatch thanks to its seamless integration with the iPhone and the rest of the Apple ecosystem. Plus, it has several models to ensure the perfect fit for your lifestyle. If you want to upgrade or purchase a smartwatch for the first time, the Apple Watch lineup is a great place to start.

Despite not being as new as the Watch Series 10, the Series 9 offers an impressive set of features and is one step up from the base SE model. The Apple Watch Series 9 can track activity, steps, heart rate, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, sleep, and environmental sound levels (to protect your hearing). It uses algorithms and machine learning to spot dangerous patterns and alert you to seek medical attention.

ZDNET editor-in-chief Jason Hiner recommended purchasing it over cheaper models after first reviewing the Series 9 in 2023

“Inside the Apple Watch Series 9 is the S9 chip, making the popular smartwatch faster, smarter, and better at reading your body signals — based on my real-world tests next to the last-generation model,” Hiner wrote in his review. “That makes this year’s Apple Watch Series 9 a generational step up. So, if you’re in the market for an Apple Watch right now, I’d specifically recommend getting the Series 9 (or the Apple Watch Ultra 2) because the health tracking is such an improvement from previous models.

How I rated this deal

Despite being an older model, the Apple Watch 9 is a standout in many ways. I rated this a 2/5 Editor’s deal rating for its new discounted price and great functionality. But also keep in mind that the device is slowly getting older, and may not have functions that newer models have. In previous years, we have seen similar price ranges. As alluded to earlier, we have seen better deals in the past. Those may return in the near future, and if they do, we’ll be the first to let you know.
