Best Buy will sell you a Nintendo Switch: Mario Kart Deluxe bundle for $225 – but act fast
It’s almost Black Friday, and the gaming console deals are already kicking into high gear. One of the most competitive offers I’ve seen is this one for the Nintendo Switch: Mario Kart Deluxe bundle at Best Buy. It’s $75 off the retail price and gets you both the popular Switch console and a digital copy of Mario Kart Deluxe 8. For a discounted price of $225, you’ll want to head over to your local Best Buy as soon as possible because I don’t expect it to last long.

While the Nintendo Switch has been out for years now, and it certainly doesn’t beat the more modernized PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X when it comes to graphical performance, it’s ever so relevant thanks to fan-favorite games like Mario Kart. With this Black Friday bundle, the digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gives you an assortment of tracks to race around — 32, to be exact — with familiar and new characters to choose from.

The console itself is just as practical and portable to use as it was when first launched, with a 6.2-inch, 720p resolution display that’s just good enough for on-the-go gaming and an HDMI output that lets it extend to any big-screen TV. You can also pair the Switch with XR glasses or even a projector, of course. The system comes with 32GB of internal storage, so I’d be mindful of what’s being downloaded onto the console. When in doubt, grab a microSD card for expanded memory.
The Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart bundle is currently available at Best Buy for $225 ($75 off), though you’d have to pick it up in person; the retailer isn’t doing deliveries for this deal. However, if you’re nowhere near a Best Buy store, your best bet is to pay $25 more for Walmart’s online offer, which can be shipped.
Deals are subject to sell out or expire at any time, though ZDNET remains committed to finding, sharing, and updating the best product deals for you to score the best savings. Considering this offer is for a refurbished product, inventory is even more important than timing, so keep an eye out for the stock of the model that interests you the most.
Our team of experts regularly checks in on the deals we share to ensure they are still live and obtainable. We’re sorry if you’ve missed out on this deal, but don’t fret — we’re constantly finding new chances to save and sharing them with you at ZDNET.com.
Black Friday takes place on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024. However, expect retailers to begin early discounts and sales weeks before.
