Cisco Applauds CISA’s ‘K-12 Protecting Our Future Report’

Statement by Bill Davenport, Senior Director, Spectrum & Technology Policy, Government Affairs:
Today’s report by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is an important recognition of the incredibly diverse cyber threat landscape facing K-12 education organizations across the country. No school district is immune from cyberattacks in today’s hyper-connected world, and it’s critical that the federal government explore policies and initiatives that can provide our school districts with the modern tools they need to protect children, teachers, and their schools. Cisco appreciates the findings, recommendations, and digital toolkit outlined in the report, and we stand ready to support CISA’s efforts through our expertise, resources, and solutions.
