Cisco & Panasonic to Demonstrate Innovation in IP Video Processing at IBC 2022

I am excited to announce that Cisco and Panasonic will join forces to demonstrate a ground-breaking live IP video production solution at IBC 2022, September 9-12, in the Cisco booth, Hall 1 A11.
With the major transition to IP in the broadcast industry, content producers and broadcasters are looking for new technologies and solutions to address the evolving challenges and enable their success.
Panasonic has a unique solution for content producers and broadcasters: a next-generation IT/IP live video processing platform called “KAIROS”.
KAIROS is based on a ground-breaking software development that relies on CPU and GPU processing power, and accesses performance that is currently impossible to attain due to systems that are limited by their hardware architecture.
The KAIROS platform offers true uncompressed video processing, full support of baseband and IP signals such as ST2110, and super low latency down to one frame.
Fully embracing the latest IP technologies, KAIROS is ready for remote production and to be integrated in a full IP-based environment.
Cisco, as a KAIROS Alliance Partner, has worked closely with Panasonic to provide an environment for broadcasters to transition to IP using a wide range of IP-based devices and software that is based on Cisco IP Fabric for Media architecture and Nexus 9k switches.
Cisco specialists will be demonstrating a readily available solution supporting the migration to IP for a wide range of applications live from the IBC 2022 floor.
