Announcing Cisco Secure Access China, Operated by Digital China Cloud

To support our customers’ growth in Mainland China and comply with the country’s cybersecurity and data protection laws, we are introducing our Secure Access China solution, operated in partnership with Digital China Cloud (DCC). It delivers cloud-based security for productivity and innovation, while easing compliance stress. Unlike some other global solutions, our approach is compliance-first to help organizations reduce their operational risk.
What Compliance-First Means
Purpose-built for China’s unique regulatory landscape, Secure Access China emphasizes compliance as the leading element in the organization’s security posture. The service aligns with critical regulations, like the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) law, and maintains end-user personal information within China’s borders. By leveraging Cisco’s long-standing partnership with Digital China, we have established a framework for security and compliance that features data processing, hosting, and support localized in China.
Cloud-Native Infrastructure
Our customers asked for a single vendor solution to help protect them worldwide. Secure Access China offers the core benefits of the global version of Secure Access. Its cloud-delivered security brings high availability, elastic performance, and resiliency. It protects remote workers with the familiar Cisco Secure Client software for application connectivity. This ensures, regardless of where our customers work and travel in China, that there is an in-country policy enforcement where they do business.
The service includes a China-hosted Admin Dashboard consistent with our global Secure Access experience. It includes local technical support in English and Chinese, combining DCC and Cisco’s assistance.
