Connecting Candidates and Employers
Making connections and building relationships is vital to our success both personally and professionally. Whether we are meeting in person or virtually, human connections are critical.
The Cisco Talent Bridge program powers an inclusive future and simplifies talent sourcing. Our creative and inclusive processes to source talent focuses on underrepresented communities as well as groups that are interconnected with Cisco. Our Talent Bridge Matching Engine platform automates and simplifies the connection process.
Through these relationships, we are bridging the talent gap for this generation and the future.
Sticking out at Cisco Live EMEA
Recently our global team attended Cisco Live EMEA in Amsterdam to expand our employer participation and remind our partners of the power of this free resource. We took this opportunity to invite Cisco partners and customers to join us on our journey to be more socially responsible in sourcing talent, growing our workforce, and positively impacting lives. We found that many employers were interested in the philanthropic aspect of the offering and eager to integrate the program into their organization.
Launching our Customer Pilot
Additionally, we officially launched our Customer Pilot, allowing Cisco Customers access to the Cisco Talent Bridge Matching Engine. Interested customers can be included in the program, connect with our candidates, bring them into their workforce, and join us in impacting the lives of these individuals.
If you are a customer, or know one that might be interested in participating, please contact us.
Bringing Candidates into the Cisco Ecosystem
We’re actively working on bringing more candidates into the platform. Working with multiple Cisco teams to positively impact those who have been impacted by crises. By doing so, we’re helping support those in need and funnel talent to our ecosystem of employers.
In a multi-team pilot, we have conducted targeted outbound campaigns to increase participation of the Matching Engine platform by Networking Academy students.
As part of an initiative to bring more Cisco Networking Academy alumni into our Cisco workforce, our Cisco recruiters are using our Matching Engine platform to fill early-in-career positions. We are working with Cisco Networking Academy on a campaign to increase the awareness of the Matching Engine platform – ultimately with the hopes of having even more skilled candidates using the tool, which benefits all employers.
Cisco is committed to upskilling over 10 million people over 10 years. This ultimately leads to more talent entering our network and being available to make connections.
“Talent Bridge’s Matching Engine is in a unique position – almost a middle layer between Networking Academy alumni and open jobs with Channel partners. We end up being a conduit for talent for all our Channel Partners and now also to our Customers,” mentions Chris Dempsey, Director, Talent Acquisition.
Through the Talent Bridge Matching Engine platform, we connect more than 50,000 active candidates to opportunities globally in 18 languages. Candidates are ready to fill both technical and nontechnical roles from entry-level to senior-level roles. Our diverse talent is being sourced from Networking Academy, Military services, refugee communities, pride community, and universities that support underserved populations.
We offer office hours and one-on-one meetings to onboard your company and train your recruiters on using the tool so your team can maximize its potential.
