Eero's new Wi-Fi 7 routers are here to upgrade your home internet – at a price you'll love

Eero is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year by launching a new lineup of Wi-Fi 7 routers, including an entry-level option. The Eero 7 and Eero Pro 7 are two new entry- and mid-level routers with Wi-Fi 7 support that will conquer a piece of the market where Eero’s been lacking.
The new routers join the Eero Max 7, the company’s flagship mesh router, which is typically priced at $600. The Eero 7, in contrast, costs $170, while the Eero Pro 7 costs $300.

“For 10 years, Eero has obsessed over delivering exceptional Wi-Fi because we know it is as important as our electricity and running water. Back in my apartment in San Francisco, our ambition was to deliver an experience that’s easy to use, is so reliable you don’t have to think about it, comes with world-class security, and is thoughtfully designed to blend into any environment,” said Nick Weaver, CEO and co-founder of Eero. “We’ve continued to innovate and have gone well beyond our first home mesh Wi-Fi system — there are tens of millions of Eero devices that power homes and businesses across 24 countries. Today, I’m excited for the Eero 7 and Pro 7 to join the Max 7 and Outdoor 7 and expand our Wi-Fi 7 portfolio to meet every internet need.”
Eero’s most affordable Wi-Fi 7 mesh routers

The Eero 3 is a dual-band router with support for 2.4 and 5GHz, delivering wireless speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps and wired speeds up to 2.3 Gbps. It has two 2.5 GbE ports and is compact and short enough to fit on a desk corner or small shelf.
The Eero Pro 7 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh router, with support for 2.4, 5, and 6GHz. Each one is designed to handle up to 200 devices across 2,000 square feet and can deliver wireless speeds of up to 3.8 Gbps and wired speeds up to 4.7 Gbps. The Eero Pro 7 has two 5 GbE ports and is perfect for smart homes or congested networks where multiple people are streaming content or playing online games.

Both the Eero 7 and Eero Pro 7 are backward compatible with older Eero devices, regardless of Wi-Fi generation, and both feature Thread, Zigbee, and Matter support for smart home connectivity. They also feature proprietary Eero technologies, including TrueMesh, which dynamically handles how data moves across the network to ensure the fastest path is used, and TrueRoam, which proactively transitions devices within an Eero mesh network as you move around your home.
You also have the option to subscribe to an Eero Plus membership, which provides advanced parental controls and security settings and allows you to use internet backup during a blackout.
Availability
The Eero 7 and Eero Pro 7 are available for pre-order today for $170 and $300, respectively, and will be available for general purchase on Feb. 26.
