Evolving and Reimagining Cisco Marketing Velocity – introducing Jennifer Machgan


On October 8th, Cisco will unveil an entirely new experience for Cisco partners using the Marketing Velocity Central (MVC) platform. Our team has been hard at work on reimagining Cisco Marketing Velocity – a multi-year journey.

We are excited for our partners to attend the unveiling event! Before next week’s activities, I wanted to introduce you to a key member of Cisco’s Partner Demand and Acceleration team who has been instrumental over the past several months helping us bring the new Cisco Marketing Velocity experience to fruition.

Jennifer Machgan – Leader, Marketing Velocity Central

Let me introduce you to Jennifer Machgan, Leader, Marketing Velocity Central (MVC). Jennifer’s role is leading the MVC team. Jennifer is not new to Cisco having completed 10 years in various partner marketing, product and corporate roles. This included many areas – Webex, Enterprise Networking, SMB eCommerce marketplaces, Mergers and Acquisitions and most recently she worked with our Cloud Marketplace partners AWS, Microsoft and Google.

Jennifer has an extensive background in partner marketing automation, partner management and cloud, and eCommerce marketplaces.

Christine: Hi Jen, can you tell our partners about Cisco Marketing Velocity Reimagined?

Jen: Sure, Cisco Marketing Velocity reimagined has been a multi-year journey. After listening to partners, the goal was to create a more comprehensive experience. We have made great strides to ensure that content is easy-to-find, relevant and up to date with our Cisco campaign strategies as well as providing guidelines to help partners be successful. The feedback so far from several partners has been fantastic, and we can’t wait to hear more after the unveiling.

Christine: What outcomes would you like to see for our partners and the future of Cisco Marketing Velocity?

Jen: Our work after the Reimagine Unveiling is not done! We have many more enhancements already in the works to elevate the user experience. Some key areas we are working on now are:

(1) Cisco Marketing Velocity Learning integration and elevating partner training, working to create learning paths specific to partners’ focus areas. (2) AI capabilities and how we can use them to make searching for campaigns easier and finding learning that is relevant to our partners’ needs. (3) Adding more campaigns focused on customer outcomes to help partners be successful in their marketing journey.

Christine: This is so exciting, Jen! What would you like partners to know about you and your role with MV?

Jen: I would love partners to know I am passionate about our partner ecosystem here at Cisco. Partners are what make us successful. As we move into FY25, we will continue to enhance Cisco Marketing Velocity and give our partners the learning and guidance they need to be successful. We are here for them. We are listening to what they need, and we are in this partnership together.
