Five Stars, Four Roles, Three Levels and Two Priorities – Partners’ and Customers’ Success – Cisco Blogs
For 11 straight years, Cisco has been honored to receive CRN’s 5-Star rating in their Partner Program Guide. This is a huge honor that we don’t take lightly. According to CRN, the 5-Star designation is for “an elite subset of vendors” with “the most comprehensive line-ups of incentives, training, services and benefits.” And this year, our AppDynamics team also earned 5-Star status for their continued dedication to partners.
Since we launched our Cisco Partner Program a year and half ago, all facets of it are fully operational. Our strategy is to provide a single, unified program that addresses different roles partners play with their customers based on the type of value they deliver—as integrators, providers, developers and advisors.
The Cisco Partner Program
The program gives partners flexibility to choose select, premier or gold status to distinguish themselves with customers and assure them that their partner has demonstrated proficiency in delivering solutions. It also creates a strong value exchange between Cisco and our partners—part of why about 80% of our partners report that they have a better experience with Cisco than with our competitors.
And we’re not stopping there. We appreciate the honest feedback and guidance we get from our partners, and we use it to continually enhance our competencies, program and incentives. Thanks to the ongoing efforts of our program team at Cisco, we continue to improve the program by streamlining the requirements to participate in the program, simplifying our processes and aligning the benefits associated with participation.
Eleven years is a long time to keep earning CRN’s 5-Star respect. I believe it demonstrates our consistently high standards, but don’t think for a minute that it signals complacency. We have gone to great lengths to step up for partners through pandemic, supply chain constraints and, now, war in Ukraine. And we will continue to be there for our partners, whatever the future brings.
