Kicking off the next chapter of hybrid work


As we prepare for our annual Cisco Partner Summit, I am reminded how exciting this time of year is because of so many opportunities to connect with our partners, celebrate success and reinforce our collaboration strategy. This first quarter may have been the busiest I can remember. From regional roadshows to WebexOne watch parties and industry events, it’s been a packed schedule. We’ve been out in force to align and enable our channel partners with the best technology platform for hybrid work, programs to increase profitability throughout the customer lifecycle and simplify the way we do business together.

Our dedication to our channel partners shines through innovation that increases market opportunities, unlocks new routes market, and transforms the way our mutual customers do business. The exciting announcements made this past month are great proof points. In case you missed any of it, I’d like to recap and direct you to the best ways to learn more and stay connected.

A new partnership

To start October, Microsoft and Cisco announced a partnership that will bring more choice, flexibility, and capabilities to our customers. For the first time ever, Cisco will become a certified Microsoft Teams Rooms devices partner to better serve our mutual customers. This, combined with added interoperability features and integrations will expand your capabilities to deliver solutions that best support your customer’s hybrid work strategy. Learn more here.

WebexOne: The Collaboration Event of the Year

Next, we hosted our third annual WebexOne event on our very own Webex Events platform. The production value was impressive throughout the amazing keynotes and 41 insight sessions. And our audience engagement technology was on full display. We have raised the bar for hybrid work solutions with new innovations that will help you and your customers reimagine workspaces, create work style flexibility, manage and secure end to end solutions, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. In addition to the main event, we hosted our first WebexOne Partner Exclusive digital event. This experience was designed to help partners align with the Webex business strategy and deliver the programs and tools to ensure collaboration business success. We also honored several of our top performing partners through our 4th Webex Partner Awards. The compilation of quick, on-demand content is sure to enhance collaboration go-to-market efforts. Partner Summit: Our next mission

And that brings me to our next mission (hint). Next week at Partner Summit Javed Khan, GM Cisco Collaboration and I will host a Business Insight Session (BIS06) to brief our Collaboration Mavericks on how we’ll fly this future of work mission together (hint). In this session you can expect exciting preannouncements, details on our collaboration sales strategy, and learn how to align your team to capture the hybrid work opportunity in front us and most importantly, LET’S OWN IT!
