Cisco is proud to recognize and celebrate exceptional cybersecurity advocates in each region with the Cybersecurity Defender of 2024 Award.
During a special ceremony at Cisco Live in Amsterdam, four outstanding advocates from the EMEA region will be honored, and one will be named the winner. Their stories are remarkable and serve as inspiration to the broader cybersecurity community. We’re grateful for their tireless efforts to safeguard critical data and commitment to keeping the internet safe. Let’s meet the nominees for the Cybersecurity Defender of 2024 Award in the EMEA region:

Giulia has worked with various cybersecurity solutions throughout her career. She was pivotal in executing the digital security strategy and vision designed by Alessio Settaro, Chief Digital Solutions and Digital Transformation Leader at Leroy Merlin Italy. Giulia’s relationship with Cisco and expertise were instrumental in effectively leveraging Cisco Vulnerability Management in support of Alessio’s vision for cloud security across Leroy Merlin.
Giulia’s exceptional skills and expertise helped to integrate Cisco’s Cloud Protection vision into Leroy Merlin’s cybersecurity infrastructure seamlessly. Giulia’s excellent execution of the strategy helped enhance Leroy Merlin’s reputation as a leader in cloud security, integrating Alessio’s belief that “Cisco’s Cloud Protection Suite is the complete puzzle for cloud protection, ensuring solutions are in the right ecosystem and communicating.”
