Check the ownership of your
subscriptions

When customers want to deploy a solution on
their VMware endpoints, they must “Subscribe” to these solutions. The typical
steps to subscribe to an image in the marketplace consist of selecting the
platform and the version of the solution, going through some steps to define
the deployment configuration., and signing in the EULA agreement. After this,
the user has subscribed to the image and can launch the solution to the
platform of their choice.

With the new release, the Marketplace now includes the “Subscribed by” column. Thus, customers can check who within their organization has subscribed to each solution. This is particularly useful for large Marketplace organization with multiple users, all accessing the service through the same organization.

Customer can check active Subscriptions by
navigating to the Manage section in the top right corner of the Marketplace
page, and selecting “Subscriptions”. In addition to the Subscribed By column,
the Subscriptions section also includes other useful information such as
product name, the subscription ID, the price (if applicable), and the status
and end date of each subscription.

Publish, review, and update a solution
at any time

When publishers are entering in the required information
to publish a solution to the Marketplace catalog, they may want to complete the
process in different stages, or may even want to update the information once
the solution is published.

To cover the last use case, we have enabled the “Save As Draft” option to allow publishers to back to their solutions and update the information at any time. This option is now available for non-paid solutions, and will be also enabled for paid solutions soon.
