Partner Innovation Challenge: Making Everything Possible – Cisco Blogs
We live in a programmable world where technology innovation makes just about anything possible.
This is the fourth year we’ve hosted Cisco’s Partner Innovation Challenge, and it’s just getting better every year. Since the challenge launched in 2018, we’ve awarded more than $2 million USD in prize money. Those awards are incredibly well earned. We’ve had some amazing submissions, and this year partners really raised the bar in terms of innovation and demonstrating business outcomes.
This year, our winners are truly diverse and come from around the world – from Australia and Indonesia to the United States and Egypt.
I’m pleased to share our winners for the Cisco’s 2021 Partner Innovation Challenge:
For the second consecutive year, Outcomex of Australia takes home top honors and the $200,000 USD grand prize for TransportDeck, an end-to-end IoT transport management solution. Outcomex leveraged Cisco IoT sensors and smart cameras, and added real-time visibility and insights, allowing users to monitor their transport environments, such as pick-up-drop-off bays, bus stops, taxi ranks, and parking facilities. This solution helps customers make decisions to improve area accessibility and to manage traffic flow.
CDW of the United States takes second place and a $75,000 USD prize with their entry that shows how they’re extending healthcare services to medically underserved communities in partnership with BrightMD. CDW integrated Webex Contact Center technology with Google AI and BrightMD to allow voice interaction for first-level diagnosis, virtual consultations, and remote patient monitoring.
Mastersystem of Indonesia takes third place and the $25,000 USD prize with a comprehensive customer journey solution for the Omnichannel Contact Center. Mastersystem uses APIs to extend our Webex Contact Center and Messaging technology services by utilizing dashboards oriented in customer experience to detail the customer journey, including click-to-call capabilities and proactive suggestions related to relevant topics. With speech and sentiment analysis, APIs evaluate not only customers’ conversations with Contact Center agents, but also public comments on social media helping avoid any text-based interaction miscommunication.
In addition to the top three winners, we’re awarding a $15,000 USD prize for an inclusive future to Connectivity IT Solutions (India). And special mentions go to CAE Technologies (UK) for Sustainability and IPMagix (Egypt) for a very inspiring submission to help the tourism industry post-pandemic.
This challenge continues to be a great opportunity for partners to show how they are innovating with programmability and building with APIs on top of Cisco solutions. I want to congratulate all our finalists — and especially Outcomex for their repeat win in the 2021 challenge. I also want to thank all partners that participated in this year’s program. Your innovative spirit is inspiring to all of us.
And we aren’t done yet! In 2022, we will celebrate the fifth year of the challenge. And I hope we will have even more inspiring stories and ideas to share that spotlight the creativity and ingenuity in how you are solving complex problems! So stay tuned for more information about our next challenge coming in Spring 2022!
