Partners who use Cisco Marketing Velocity can generate 5.2x more pipeline

For over a decade, partners have been using Marketing Velocity to accelerate their time-to-market and more recently have adopted Cisco Marketing Velocity Central (MVC) as their full-scale marketing engine. MVC is a digital, co-marketing experience offering partners always-on learning, content, and free services designed to create integrated marketing campaigns and generate demand to help grow your business.

Cisco Marketing Velocity (MV) provides an end-to-end centralized place for partners to manage all their marketing needs when co-marketing with Cisco leading to:

  • Aligned Cisco-Partner GTM messaging
  • Brand compliance
  • Promote Cisco’s campaign-led model
  • Accelerated marketing outcomes with less resourcing

Through the years, thousands of partners have utilized MVC to manage all their co-marketing needs with Cisco because as you know, when we market together, we win together.

One thing definitely stands out – partners who use Cisco Marketing Velocity Central can generate 5.2 times more pipeline.* Not only that, but we see that number increasing year over year (increased from 4x in FY2023 to 5.2x in FY2024). We attribute this growth to ensuring our partners have what they need to grow their business.

Good thing our users are not shy! They have enthusiastically provided Cisco with feedback which we use to continually improve. This past year the feedback included things like discoverability, content mix, design and user experience. We used this valuable feedback to unveil our most recent update.

What’s New with Cisco Marketing Velocity Central (MVC)?

Last week we unveiled an entirely new experience for Cisco Marketing Velocity Central (MVC). We took all the feedback from partners to re-design a new, simpler experience that is also aligned to Cisco.com and focused on accelerating joint Cisco and partner outcomes.

To begin, we created an intuitive, modern platform foundation that has reduced the complexity and enables you to find what you need through a simplified search function. This includes:

  • New, streamlined, consistent design with navigation aligned to partners’ top tasks tailored specifically to your profile
  • Enhanced filtering and search experience that makes it easier for partners to find more relevant campaign content: Understanding search, filters, and more
  • New featured solution overviews to highlight the most salient opportunities
  • Simplified reporting and analytics dashboard to facilitate campaign analysis to measure RESULTS

This update facilitates easier usage of MV marketing automation features which include the ability to customize Cisco-made or generic automated email workflows, web plugins (microsites, showcases, and banners) and social media.

Early user experience indicates an excitement about the new features and if you missed the Unveiling broadcast last week, click to view the MV recorded overview and demo.

More priority campaigns

As we began doing this year, we will continue to help partners navigate and prioritize solution campaigns. One example, is our recent security campaign focused on User Protection: Campaign Spotlight: Driving Demand with Marketing Velocity Central and User Protection Campaign.

Expect to see more featured campaigns with details on how marketers can tap into step-by-step guides. Ready-made marketing content, and tools.

Always evolving – what’s next in 2025

As mentioned, feedback pushes us to continue streamlining and simplifying the experience. What’s on the horizon in 2025?

  • Personalized experience: The goal is to deliver a seamless digital demand engine where partners can easily and quickly find – in five clicks or less – the right marketing asset, campaign, or learning resource to co-market solutions with Cisco and deliver a personalized experience to support partners as they grow their business in managed services, SaaS, and among SMB customers.
  • AI: Imagine if you could consult an AI Expert while building your own content. What if you could do complete social media augmentation? And what if you could use generative AI to build campaigns, auto building of emails, landing pages, and workflow and then help you take it through your next best action to activate with customers. These are just a few features that are on the near horizon with MVC and AI.
  • Marketing Velocity Learning (MVL) – a simplified partner learning experience will get even simpler. Upcoming enhancements will further empower partners to create effective campaigns. Resources for co-marketing with Cisco will speed up campaign adoption.
