How I rated this deal

I give the Samsung SSD deal a 5/5 Editor’s deal rating not because it’s the lowest price I’ve seen on the 8TB version (it was almost 60% off around December 2024), but because it’s excellent value for such a high-capacity SSD plus a microSDXC that’s perfect for expanding storage on your Nintendo Switch/Switch 2.

While the Samsung T5 Evo portable SSD listing doesn’t have a countdown timer, it is labeled a limited-time sale. That means that Samsung may have only approved a certain number of units that can be sold at this price, and the stock may not last.
