The Gap in Security Readiness.

It’s no surprise that the threat landscape is continuing to evolve. As a security partner, you are seeing this daily with your clients.  Cybercriminals are targeting vulnerabilities in operation deficiencies, suppliers, and business partners. Attacks could be email-borne, directly targeted, socially based, or a mix of all three. And the reality is only about 15% of organizations have the proper security maturity to deal with these attacks, according to findings in our recent Cybersecurity Readiness Index.  Additionally, approximately 82% of respondents stated that they expect a cybersecurity incident to disrupt their business in the next 12 -24 months.  This means there is a massive opportunity for you as a partner to help your clients be more security resilient. And to support you we are bringing new innovations to market, coupled with lucrative partner profitability offers, to help you secure your customer’s enterprise.

Security Operations. Simplified.

We are continuing to build momentum for the Security Cloud, with the announcement of Cisco XDR – designed by SOC experts, for SOC experts. This new cloud-first XDR, integrates our broad portfolio of security products as well as select third-party offerings in an open, extensible, and intuitive XDR solution, packed with intelligent correlation, effective prioritization, and evidence-based recommendations to effectively detect and rapidly respond to the highest priority incidents in a customer’s environment. As a Cisco partner you can benefit from Cisco XDR by building it into your SOC-as-a-Service capabilities as well as levering this to build on additional valued-added services.  Additionally, leverage Cisco XDR as a cross-sell and upsell opportunity when positioning complimentary third-party solutions.

We are excited to introduce the Cisco Extended Detection and Response (XDR) Specialization. Specialized partners will be positioned to offer solutions that provide increased visibility and actionable insights for fast, automated threat response across networks, cloud, endpoints, email, and applications. This specialization recognizes the ability to deliver comprehensive unmatched XDR security. As the demand for XDR increases, get specialized to differentiate yourself and capitalize on this rapidly expanding opportunity.

Can your MFA do that?

We excited to announce that we are building more customer value into Secure Access by Duo.  Previously available only in our Beyond edition, all paid Duo customers can now use Trusted Endpoints to block access from unknown devices and only allow trusted devices to gain access to resources.

With the rising number of MFA-targeted attacks, we want all customers to have the ability to control the devices that are allowed to gain access to their most valued data and applications. Even with this added security, list prices will remain the same.

With many capabilities in one, Duo is the top choice for organizations of all sizes that care about security. Duo is quick to implement and easy to use, giving your clients a great customer experience.  Duo’s unique combination of user verification, device trust and risk-based authentication builds a strong foundation for Zero Trust which you can use to then position a broader platform strategy.

Duo is also re-introducing our three editions as Duo Essentials, Duo Advantage and Duo Premier. This will make Duo’s offering more in line with Cisco’s offering as we move closer together in product synergy.  (Duo Federal and Duo Free will not include Trusted Endpoints).

Offers You can Use.

As always, partners can position these innovations and leverage our compelling profitability programs and offers like our “Connect & Protect” offer and “Partner-led One Year on Us” offer so you can maximize your profitability while positioning the latest and greatest from Cisco Security.  And coming soon partners will be able to position a new offer which combines the power that customers can achieve when deploying Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Duo and Cisco Secure Email together.  Stay tuned as we will provide more details on this offer in the coming weeks.  With this offer you will be able to help customers reduce their attack surface by implementing layered defenses and security controls and safely enable hybrid work without compromising on security.

Our hope is that our innovation at RSA will enable #CiscoPartners to continue to have outcome focused conversations with their customers and help customers build a holistic security strategy that can grow and evolve as their security needs change, because if “it’s connected, it’s protected”.
