Why did your company decide to become a Principal Participating Organization?

With businesses and consumers increasingly relying on digital payment methods, ensuring the utmost security in these transactions is crucial. By becoming a PPO, we have the highest level of membership within the Council, enabling us to work closely with the Executive Committee, Council staff, and stakeholders. This gives us the opportunity to actively engage in discussions regarding standards, lead technical discussions, and help to directly influence Council initiatives.

Which benefits are you most looking forward to as a Principal Participating Organization?

The PCI SSC provides a unique platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange among industry leaders, presenting opportunities for us to learn from peers and stay updated on emerging security threats, while developing innovative solutions for the benefit of our customers and the wider industry.

We look forward to working closely with the PCI SSC and attending their upcoming Community Meetings.

Why is it important for companies to get more involved with the PCI Security Standards Council, especially at the Principal Participating Organization level?

Active involvement with the PCI Security Standards Council, especially as a PPO, is essential. It allows companies to help shape PCI security standards and build valuable industry connections.

What are some payment security topics that you’re interested in collaborating on?

As a pioneer in mobile payment technology, we are interested in all standards that are related to payment acceptance on mobile devices, for example MPoC and PCI 3DS SDK. We are also interested in security related to payment systems hosted in the cloud, such as cloud-based payment HSMs.
