Stay Ahead of Cyber Threats
Trend Micro serves over half a million corporate customers across the globe, including eight of the top 10 telecom firms. Many of these customers are among the world’s largest organizations – running some of the most demanding IT environments on the planet. They need industry-leading threat protection, detection, and response capabilities to work at high speed and scale.
That’s why we recently enhanced our TX product line of high-performance appliances with the 9200TXE. As attack volumes and complexity surge, it delivers the peace of mind very large enterprises need – from the network edge to the data center and the cloud.
Digital drives network risk
The IT network sits at the heart of any enterprise. But as organizations double down on digital transformation and transition to hybrid working, these networks have become more distributed and complex. Multiple cloud investments have added a whole new layer of complexity while surging customer demand for digital services puts ever-increasing pressure on IT teams to minimize security and operational risk. Although the corporate cyber-attack surface is rapidly expanding, even the largest enterprises are struggling to hire enough skilled practitioners to mitigate increased cyber risk. Almost two-thirds (62%) say they have blind spots that hamper security.
At the same time, threat actors continue to leverage tools and services from the cybercrime underground to ramp up attacks. Trend Micro alone blocked over 146 billion threats for our customers in 2022, a new record. An 86% increase in backdoor detections is particularly concerning as it shows that threat actors are successfully making landfall inside networks.
What’s new with 9200TXE?
In this context, large enterprises, including telcos, need comprehensive, high-performance network security that works at the same speed they do. That’s why we focused on three key areas with the 9200TXE Threat Protection System:
Throughput to deliver real-time threat prevention: The new appliance is capable of 100Gbe connections and can perform inspections at 100Gbps. It can also be stacked up to five times to deliver even faster (.5Tbps) inspection capabilities. This unprecedented throughput makes it the right choice for large-scale, highly demanding network environments.
Joined up detection and response with Vision One: Network threat prevention is one thing. But increasingly, large enterprises recognize that they can’t stop everything – so they want to integrate their defensive capabilities with proactive threat detection and response. The 9200TXE integrates with the Trend Micro Vision One platform to enable rapid response across the entire network, from endpoints to servers and cloud workloads. That’s the kind of holistic cyber risk management that organizations need as their attack surface continues to expand.
Powered by the Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) for early protection: Trend Micro’s ZDI is the world’s largest vendor-agnostic bug bounty program, responsible for nearly two-thirds of all vulnerabilities published in 2022. What does this mean for 9200TXE customers? Like other Trend Micro users, they are able to leverage our virtual patching technology to stay protected from unknown threats on average 102 days before official patches are released. Last year, the ZDI released a record number of advisories for the third year in a row, thanks in part to investments in automated analysis tools which are finding more bugs.
It all adds up to a compelling reason to consider Trend Micro’s TX range for your high-performance network security requirements.
