We switched from ASA to FortiGate 200F last year and have been very happy. The performance-to-price ratio is excellent. Management via FortiManager is solid too.

Good topic! My standard design uses 4x 10GbE NICs with a distributed vSwitch. Two for management/vMotion and two for VM traffic. Jumbo frames on the storage network only.
